finding joy in gardening, in catching up with old friends (three cheers for skype! even if the omani version is a bit shit), in planning waitangi day outings. and tomorrow i get to meet my new nephew!
Skype is a real life saver. It is a great way for my son and I to keep in touch with my folks back in Kiwiland. With the webcam they can both talk and interact.
I have just discovered your blog and the pleasure of following those from "back home"... they give me a perspective on things that the newspapers and family can't provide... so thanks.
